I have been to JW Cafe twice now and I absolutely Love this place! The food is freshly made and the cafe is super cute. The way they make your order with such care is an absolute work of art. From the careful construction of a simple sandwich to the way they carefully place each piece from the baked goods into the bakery box. This is a wonderful change of pace from going out and having your food slopped together by someone who doesn't care....I mean you do eat with your eyes first. Needless to say I will definitely be going back soon. The ladies in my office were so excited by the bakery goods that I brought in because they were so pretty and tasted great as well. Also be sure to check out some of the small art pieces that they have for sale as well. So go and check out JW Cafe for yourself as you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful and quiet cafe with a delightful selection of fresh baked goods and desserts. The latte was professionally crafted and even better than what you'd find at some famous coffee shops.My only criticism is that the prices are a bit high and the cafe closes early. As a nearby graduate student, I wish they would stay open until 10 p.m.

I had the freshest dressed ham croissant sandwich here on my first visit. It was delicious. I planned to eat it back at the office, but it was so good I ate it on the drive back to the office. I'll be back to try more of their fresh goodness. I don't know what this little puffy pastry is called, but is almond something and so, so good. P.S. JW Cafe sandwich was much less expensive as the one I had at a chain deli a few days later.

The food here is delicious! The potato soup was amazing! Loved my grilled chicken panini too. I also got an ice white mocha with oat milk and enjoyed that as well. I went during lunch and it was very quiet and peaceful. The employees are all super nice and accomodating! Deff a must go spot!

Stopped by for the first time today and had a bean bun and a coffee. My daughters had a chocolate chip cookie and pistachio shortbread cookies. Great experience!!! Super nice staff and everything was fresh and tasted amazing! My family and I will be back.

Loved this little café. Probably the best croissant I’ve had in Louisville. Unfortunately, they were out of 80% of their items so I’m looking forward to coming back to try some other things. We had an apricot croissant twist that was delicious. The regular butter croissant was amazing and the handmade tiramisu was very tasty as well. Oh yes, can’t forget the cheese danish, that was very good as well. Still searching for the perfect almond croissant and told the owner she should make one. Time will tell.

Just happened upon this super cute spot, and I’m so glad we did! Everything is fresh-made and absolutely delicious. I had a cheese danish and a white chocolate mocha with raspberry—both were amazing! My daughter had a boba milk tea and a brownie, and she loved them. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Only small downside was that we asked for extra boba, but it seemed like there was very little in the drink. Still, that won’t stop us from coming back—we’ll definitely be visiting again soon!

I regularly seek out new cafes in the Louisville area (for my own interest, I just enjoy them) and wow, I’m really excited I found this one. The atmosphere was very quiet and calm, even though the cafe stayed full pretty much the entire time I was there. The baked goods were delectable, but the highlight for me was the matcha. I LOVE matcha, make it for myself at home, and have gotten a matcha latte from nearly every cafe I’ve been to at one point or another, and this was without doubt, the best matcha I’ve had in Louisville. Perfectly sweet and bitter blend, creamy milk, and warmed me right up on this cold winter day. The baristas were also very kind! I will absolutely be coming again, likely with many friends.

JW provided food for a baby shower that we had and it was wonderful! In addition to the food being wonderful (you have to try the jam sticks!), the team is so easy to work with. They were patient with our asks, listened to our interests, and delivered exactly what we were hoping for - plus in attractive packaging! We will certainly return again to JW for more sweet treats.

Wanted a coffee shop that was close and took a shot on JW. We purchased an iced tiramisu latte, hazelnut latte, croissant and lemon cookie. Everything was wonderfully made and tasted phenomenal. We will be back for coffee dates.
